Synergy Hematology Oncology Medical Associates, Inc. is a privately owned and operated multi-specialty medical corporation. We service a large cross section of our community from the San Fernando Valley to Los Angeles and West Hollywood.
Our mission at Synergy is to treat patients the way we would want to be treated if we were sick. We understand that living with a serious illness is a journey and our goal is to successfully accompany our patients on that journey from both a medical and humanistic perspective. Synergy began as a state-of-the-art medical office focusing on the outpatient treatment and management of hematology-oncology patients. Our talented physicians now also manage internal medicine and primary medicine patients, nephrology (kidney diseases) endocrinology (hormone system), anesthesiology and pain management, energy medicine and drug addiction treatments. With the care and services offered at Synergy, most hospitalizations can be avoided, thus sparing the patient the inconvenience of having to be admitted, shouldering extra cost, and being subject to many downsides and risks of being hospitalized.
Our outpatient infusion center is comfortable and airy and facilitates expedited treatment of patients on varying IV courses, including hematology-oncology, gastroenterology, neurology, rheumatology, nephrology, infectious disease, podiatry, pulmonology, dermatology, as well as vitamin support. Drug addiction and mental health related infusions (e.g., Ketamine) can also be made available. If it can be infused, we can do it.
We offer many in-house services which spares patients from having to go to multiple medical appointments. We can facilitate diagnostic services including ultrasound, cardiac 2-D echo, bone marrow biopsy and lumbar puncture. We have a fully operational onsite laboratory, capable of running most ordered tests, including hematology, coagulation, chemistry, special immuno-assay testing, flu testing and toxicology/drug testing. We can also facilitate all pre-op clearances in our office, allowing for significantly expedited turnaround times.
We can often accommodate urgent same day appointments, and otherwise within a few days. Our West Hollywood office is open 6 days a week on many weeks. We accept Medicare, ALL Blue Shield of California products, most PPO policies, and cash. Our staff is adept at coordinating with your referring or ordering physicians’ offices, the authorization process, including dealing with and coordinating medication procurement and insurance authorizations with specialty pharmacies. Our physicians maintain a close relationship with referring/ordering physicians in communicating any updates, changes in health status and medical recommendations.
