Dr. Peter Koenig is a Medical Internist with a subspecialty in Endocrinology/Diabetes.
Dr. Koenig hails from Budapest, Hungary.  He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Southern California and went onto graduate medical school from the Universidad Autonoma Guadalajara, Mexico.
He completed his Internship at Good Samaritan Hospital in Long Island, New York and completed his Residency in Internal Medicine at Cedars Sinai Medical center.  His Fellowship was in Endocrinology at the Sepulveda VA Hospital as part of the UCLA/San Fernando Valley Medical Program.
Dr. Koenig has been in private practice for 45 years of which 40 years he was on the UCLA clinical faculty as an assistant clinical professor.  He joined Synergy healthcare as an associate physician in 2015.
Dr. Koenig is fluent in 3 languages: English, Hungarian and Spanish.
